MCDERMOTT CUSTOM EF-32 POOL CUE EXOTIC ZIRCOTE WOOD. Custom Cue from McDermott USA Special Order. This is a McDermott EF-32 Special Custom Order Pool Cue featuring exotic Zircote wood. According to McDermott Customer Service, bsed on the logo in the butt cap, the cue is similar to an EF-2 or an EF-32 that was special ordered with a bone urethane joint and butt cap, with wood rings in the joint. The cue was likely made in the late 1990s. It is a very beautiful cue and plays very well. The beautiful stain highlights the Zircote forearm and sleeve. Please look at all the pictures to see the highly figured grain on this cue, it is really beautiful and looks even better in person. Exotic Zircote Forearm and Sleeve. Bone Urethane Joint & Butt Cap. The cue is in excellent condition, with only a small nick in the forearm and a small mark on the edge of the butt cap. The butt and shaft roll straight, both together and apart. There are also two little tip pick marks on the ferrule, but none of these affect play. The cue has an excellent feel and solid hit, very typical of the McDermott wood to wood 3/8-10 joint. The cue has a stained maple butt with Irish linen wrap and a black joint. It comes with a traditional McDermott maple shaft. The cue has a beautiful dark stain and really shows off the grain of the wood. McDermott hard rock Maple shaft. Dark-stained Maple forearm and sleeve. Genuine black with white specks Irish linen wrap. Hard Case included – good condition. 3/8-10 wood to wood joint. Total Length: 58 ¼ Butt: 29 Shaft: 29 ¼. Weight: 20 oz Butt: 16.1 oz Shaft: 3.9 oz. The isnt a single mark or ding on the cue. The shaft is very smooth and the cue rolls straight, both together and apart. The shaft doesn’t match up exactly with the butt, there is a micro difference and you can feel that the butt is slightly bigger in diameter. I used an OB shaft on the cue and it matched up the same.
