Description Offered for sale is a beautiful vintage McDermott E-F2 pool cue in very nice original condition. This classic American-made cue features a richly figured cocobolo forearm and butt sleeve, black phenolic collars with wood ringwork, and the original McDermott clover logo butt cap. The cue has recently been professionally fitted with a new black with walnut Irish linen wrap, preserving the classic appearance and feel appropriate to this vintage McDermott. Whether you’re a collector of vintage American cues or a player looking for the solid, timeless hit that made early McDermotts so popular, this is an excellent example of one of McDermott’s classic E-Series models. The original finish retains an attractive gloss, and the cocobolo displays beautiful grain and rich color throughout. The cue has clearly been well cared for and remains structurally solid with a smooth, tight-fitting joint. The cue butt has been tested with multiple shafts and rolls straight with two known-straight shafts, indicating a stable and true butt. The original shaft rolls with a very slight taper lift that is common with many vintage maple shafts of this age. When assembled with the original shaft, the cue exhibits approximately 1/16 inch of tip lift when rolled on a flat surface. The joint fits tightly with no looseness or movement. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they are an important part of the description and accurately represent the condition of the cue. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or if additional photographs are desired.

Mcdermott EF Series E-F2 Ebony Pool Cue 58 1/4 20oz w/2 Shafts/Case. In excellent to near mint condition. This Cue has a very Dark Wood… Looks to be Ebony, however under very bright light it also looks like Cocobolo: (See pic 10), with a Black Leather Wrap. This looks to be a McDermott E-F2 Cue found in the Retired Cue section of the McDermott website. Typically the E-F2 series had nylon thread wraps, but this may be a custom order. This Cue also comes with 2 Maple Shafts. 1 Shaft has very little use. The butt and other shaft have light use and may have very light marks / scratches. The case is a nice maroon leather Joe Porper case. See pics for more details. All of the cue details are per the McDermott Website and are not my own information. I have not verified this information myself. Signature required for those with less than 20 Feedback. Board / Card games, Telescopes, Software, Clothing or Collectible / Limited Edition items. If battery is included, I make no guarantee on battery life. On occasion an item may have a description where something differs from what’s pictured. This may include size, color, model or country of manufacture to name a few. In the case of any discrepancies between what’s pictured and the written. Information, the pictures are always correct. Pictures are included as part of the overall description and I recommend you look at each picture so there is no confusion as what you’re purchasing.
