This is a beautiful vintage McDermott D-22, one of their finest D models offered. I personally delivered it to McDermott in Menomonee Falls, WI to have refurbished. I have replaced the original butt plate with a new one as they often become chipped. I had the shaft that came with it, (close but not an original, refurbished and a new Everest tip) I also went the extra mile and had a brand new G-Core shaft made for it with a D-22 joint. Both shafts are 12.75 and the total weight is near 20 1/2 ounces. These g-core shafts with a custom D-22 joint are EXPENSIVE. The cue and two shafts are sealed in the packaging from McDermott and I’d prefer to keep it that way for the next owner. This is an awesome cue, no perceptible dents or dings that I have found on the pool cue, top or bottom half. It’s a work of art!
