Mcdermott EF Series E-F2 Ebony Pool Cue 58 1/4 20oz w/2 Shafts/Case. In excellent to near mint condition. This Cue has a very Dark Wood… Looks to be Ebony, however under very bright light it also looks like Cocobolo: (See pic 10), with a Black Leather Wrap. This looks to be a McDermott E-F2 Cue found in the Retired Cue section of the McDermott website. Typically the E-F2 series had nylon thread wraps, but this may be a custom order. This Cue also comes with 2 Maple Shafts. 1 Shaft has very little use. The butt and other shaft have light use and may have very light marks / scratches. The case is a nice maroon leather Joe Porper case. See pics for more details. All of the cue details are per the McDermott Website and are not my own information. Only signs of use are on the G-Core shaft, for the most part, as the original shaft has had very little play. It has a 5 extension that goes in the center of the cue. The weight differs depending on which shaft, and if you have the extension on. I would say, with only original shaft attached, w/out extension, it is around 19-20 oz. The tips on both shafts are Kamui soft. The Ferrules are in great condition. The longer Ferrule is the original shaft, and the shorter one is on the G-Core shaft. Cue has a brand new black/speckled irish linen wrap. There isn’t any warps with this cue. It has been in a case for years. There is NO case with this cue. This cue is from the late 2001, and has been retired since 2005. The extra shaft has a different color pattern, at the center point, but still looks ok on cue and plays really well. It may need to be “polished” up a bit. Use pictures as part of description.
