MCDERMOTT EH-4 E SERIES POOL CUE LONGHORN. VINTAGE COLLECTORS POOL CUE. This is a vintage McDermott E Series pool cue stick. The model number is EH-4 and was made from 1990 to 1992. Several of the E Series cues from McDermott are highly collectable and have a strong following. On this particular cue, McDermott started with a solid Birdseye Maple forearm butt sleeve with Maple & Ebony checked rings, bordered by Cocobolo rings at the top and bottom of the sleeve. The cue is nicknamed The Longhorn because of the inlaid Cocobolo steer heads in the sleeve. The cue has a copper and black nylon wrap, a traditional Maple shaft and a bone implex joint and buttcap. The cue also has the old-style bumper, same as the C & D Series cues. Beautiful Birdseye Maple Forearm & Sleeve. Maple & Ebony Checked Rings between wide Cocobolo Rings. The cue is in excellent condition, there are a couple of tiny dings in the sleve and forearm, but you have to feel for them. The butt and shaft roll straight, both together and apart. The cue has an excellent feel and is a great player, very typical of the wood to wood 3/8-10 joint.
