Bolivian Walnut forearm and sleeve. Factory Irish Linen upgrade. Most C-2s will have a nylon wrap. This cue is basically unused, original tip. I had the shaft turned down to 11.6 mm because the whole cue was covered in very thick tobacco smoke residue. So thick it was sticky and nasty and an ugly color. This cue must have spent 35 years on a wall in a smokey basement. I removed the residue from the rest of the cue which also removed the original finish. You can still see tiny remnants if you shine a light on the base of the shaft. The original finishes on these vintage cues were very thin. It’s not much different now. Much nicer cue without the muck on it. This cue plays lights out and is very cherry. The wrap is still somewhat stained. The stains are hard to see, and I can’t feel them. The stains are a similar color as the wrap. 1 scratch on the sleeve. C series cues are always great. The shafts seldom warp. They are just as good if not better than the D series. I can lower the weight to 19.7 or 18.7 oz.
