For your collection, I have a McDermott D-9 pool cue made between 1984 and 1990. In very good condition for it’s age is is straight and looks great. The main portion of the bitt is a dark figured maple with a blue linen wrap. The cue comes in a unbranded soft case. The issues that I found are 3-4 laquer chips at the end cap, a small ding in the butt, and the linen is a bit dirty from roughly 25 years of play. The shaft has an inscription “BEAR” with a paw print near the joint. This does not affect playability and gives it personality. Bonus if your nickname at the pool hall is Bear.
