McDermott D19 Pool Cue Retired Produced from 1984 – 1990. The cue is in really beautiful condition with the only blemishes occurring below the wrap at the base of the cue and are cosmetic likely due to the cue bumping a chair or table while the player waited for the next shot. Both shafts are in fantastic shape as well. Very smooth and look great after a light cleaning to remove the chalk. The cue comes equipped with three plugs to protect all the connection points and because of these plugs all the connection points look factory fresh. The McDermott case itself is a lovely gem from the past. The latches work great and the case just has a great ambiance. Definitely the sort of case other players notice. Unfortunately the case has a few small blemishes to the exterior, the worst of which is on the top and noticeable when the case is set down to be opened, please see pics. The case interior is beautiful black shag with a nifty storage compartment. Overall cue and case have clearly been well cared for and the very few defects, in my opinion, are very minimal and I assume common considering the age (37-31 years old) of the cue. I have no doubt this cue will be a phenomenal addition to any billiards enthusiasts collection.
